Kamal was born to Parasram and Shamila Ghai in New Delhi on 14th July 1989. Traditionally his family comes from hospitality business where the family has been successfully managing Kanishka Palace and Star palace hotels in New Delhi. In the late 1980s, Mr Parasram Ghai ventured into new domain and territories, and the business deviersified into electronics and Real Estate. The new Head Quarters for the family operations moved to Ukraine.

Kamal Graduated from New Delhi in 2007 and then moved to Ukraine to join the family business of electronics. They have a strong market hold in the electronics business in Kyiv and Odesa importing consumer electronics from the far east and wholesaling to the retail giants in Ukraine.

He took the company to new heights by developing new lines that were niche to their company. At a young age of 26, Kamal was responsible for a turnover of over USD 12 Million per anum. His brothers soon followed his footsteps and joined the company business.

In 2018, Kamal moved to London to set his foot in the real estate market with a special interest in commercial high street properties. His first purchase was in 2018 when he bought three prime retail shops in Southall Broadway. There on he moved to acquire more commercial properties and has brought the portfolio strength to £ 13 Million by the end of 2020. Ghai is now sent for expansion in and around London with a target of acquiring £ 10 Million assets in the next 24 months bringing the portfolio to £ 23 Milion by the end of 2022.
